Charles Leclerc claimed the first pole position of the season in Bahrain last week and the Ferrari driver looks worth backing to double down in this evening's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix qualifying session.
Leclerc went on to win the race and set fastest lap at Sakhir, while his teammate Carlos Sainz followed him home in second to complete a memorable day for Ferrari.
But that doesn't tell the whole story as reigning world champion Max Verstappen was a late retirement having battled hard for the race win, while his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez broke down while lying third on the final lap.
Unlike in Bahrain, Leclerc has led the way in the early practices, albeit by a tiny margin, ahead of Verstappen on the Jeddah street circuit.
Last year the track hosted the penultimate round of the championship and Verstappen crashed out of qualifying at the final corner when looking set to record a stonking lap time.
Yesterday it was Leclerc whose brush with the wall ended his day's running, but the qualifying prep had already been done so that shouldn't affect his pace today.
In Bahrain Ferrari cranked up the pace on Saturday, and if that's the case again here then Leclerc would prove to be a big value second-favourite.
