Charles Leclerc can shine | Lewis Hamilton struggling for pace
Qualifying Sky Sports F1, 2pm Saturday
Charles Leclerc is favourite to take pole position for the German Grand Prix after impressing in final practice.
The Ferrari driver beat Red Bull's Max Verstappen to the quickest time by 0.168 seconds, with Sebastian Vettel in the other Ferrari third, 0.25 seconds behind.
Mercedes appeared to struggle with Valtteri Bottas a whisker ahead of Lewis Hamilton but both half a second off Leclerc's pace.
Hockenheim is not the pure power circuit of its pre-2002 layout, but Ferrari engines are clearly an asset as five of the six Ferrari-powered drivers were in the top ten in final practice.
The weather was much cooler than on Friday but rain is expected to stay away for qualifying - though the race could well be affected by rainfall.
