F1: Drivers championship odds after Valtteri Bottas victory at Azerbaijan GP
Formula 1 title favourite Lewis Hamilton settles for second in Baku
Lewis Hamilton remains odds-on favourite for the F1 drivers' championship but had to settle for second behind his Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas in Sunday's Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
Bottas started on pole but Hamilton, alongside him on the front row of the grid, was 7-4 race favourite with Bottas a 9-4 shot.
The Mercedes duo went wheel-to-wheel through the opening three bends but Bottas was able to hold off his teammate despite a late charge.
That victory put Bottas ahead of Hamilton at the top of the standings but he is 11-2 to take the crown from the 8-15 Brit. Ferrari pair Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc are 7-1 and 15-2 respectively, and it's 50-1 bar those four.
Vettel claimed third place in Baku having gone off at 11-4 from third on the grid, but rookie Leclerc made a bigger impact, leading the race at one stage.
The Monegasque started eighth after crashing out of qualifying but fought his way through after a fast start. His tyres did not last, though, and he dropped to fifth but Leclerc clearly showed his potential once again.
