Champion-elect Doyle unlikely to risk title for home victory
Russian a big price to make his speed count
Australian Grand Prix

Barring something calamitous, Jason Doyle will be crowned Speedway GP world champion in front of his own fans in Melbourne – and that’s a good reason to believe he won’t win the final meeting of the season.
Doyle, who has a 14-point lead over Patryk Dudek, could have clinched the title in Torun three weeks ago but settled for a solid, risk-free ten points to protect his lead. The Aussie has to be tempted to play it safe again to ensure he clinches the crown.
Dudek, on the other hand, has to keep charging and the in-form Pole is unsurprisingly favourite.
Points are up for grabs further down the field for various other reasons. Emil Sayfutdinov notionally needs a few to book his place in next year’s field, though it will take a miracle for him to miss out.
The Russian proved he has the speed in Torun last time, where he had two heat wins in five rides, but he lacks the consistency. Back him at a decent price to get it all together at the Etihad Stadium.
