Back Rosberg to make quick start

Nico Rosberg is no bigger than 1-6 to land his first world drivers crown this season, but his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton is fancied by bookmakers to take the spoils in this weekend’s US Grand Prix.

The Briton, who is 4-1 to claim his fourth world championship and third in a row, is 5-4 to win Sunday’s race at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas, and 6-5 to go fastest in tomorrow’s qualifying session.

But as was the case in Japan last time, Rosberg has been on pole position for the last two years in Austin and finished second to Hamilton in the race on both occasions.
