Practice two: Sky Sports F1, 2pm Friday

Azerbaijan Grand Prix weekend got off to a farcical start when the first practice session was called off just a few minutes after it started.

George Russell's Williams was wrecked after hitting a loose manhole cover. The Briton was unhurt but the recovery truck sent to pick up the car then crashed into a bridge on the circuit, causing the rest of the session to be cancelled.

Only the two Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel had set laptimes by that point, with Leclerc the faster of the two, albeit with no meaningful running completed.

Most bookmakers void bets on drivers who do not take part in practice, while Sky Bet void all bets on sessions where fewer than 13 drivers set a lap time.

Practice two is set to go ahead as scheduled.

Championship leader Lewis Hamilton heads the betting for that session, but Vettel could offer better value at a circuit which is likely to suit the Ferrari.

The team have taken an aerodynamic upgrade for Baku.

Honda have taken an improved engine to the race, which should give a reliability and power boost to Red Bull and Toro Rosso.

Recommendation
S Vettel fastest in practice two
