Mercedes suffered their least competitive race of the V6 era in Singapore last year, and Ferrari and Red Bull will be hoping it’s a similar story at Marina Bay this weekend.

Sebastian Vettel won as he liked last year for Ferrari having taken a dominant pole position while Daniel Ricciardo followed him home.

While either Lewis Hamilton or Nico Rosberg have won every race this season except Spain, where they collided on lap one, their rivals have cause for cautious optimism.
