Love Island daily: fallout, market moves and odds
All the latest talking points from the villa
What's happening
So often do ITV2 face the challenge of generating roughly 40 minutes of entertainment from a pretty uneventful day in the Love Island villa but that could not have been further from the truth in Monday's episode.
The show saw power couple Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague become official - with a little help from audience favourite "Ellie-Belly" the cuddly toy - Anton Danyluk and Belle Hassan milk goats on their first date, and the ever divisive Anna Vakili celebrate her 29th birthday.
The episode concluded, however, with the dumping of Danny Williams and Jourdan Riane (yes, they were still in there!) from the island, as they came last in the public vote, before one final bombshell.
Betting moves
Viewers were left with their heads frazzled after it was announced at the end of the show one further duo would be leaving the villa in Tuesday's episode, as decided by the remaining islanders.
The choice would be between the other couples who received the lowest number of votes - Curtis Pritchard and Amy Hart along with Lucie Donlan and George Rains.
This of course aired after news broke on Monday that Amy had left the villa on her own accord, prompting speculation that Lucie and George must be the couple dumped.
That is reflected in the betting where Curtis is a best-priced 9-1 to be top male and 7-2 with Maura Higgins in the without Tommy and Molly-Mae market. Amy, Lucie and George, meanwhile, are unlisted with Sky Bet.
Anton and Belle were cut to 6-4 to be best of the rest, while Michael Griffiths and Joanna Chimonides are 8-1, the same price as Jordan Hames and Anna.
What might happen next
It seems, therefore, original islander Lucie is set to depart along with George but it could be Amy's exit which has the biggest impact on the events in the villa.
Curtis told Maura he was reluctant to make a move on the Irish ring girl with former couple partner Amy still around but, now she is believed to have left, that could open the door for something to blossom, whether genuine or fake. They still have a few weeks to win the audience's affection and may be worth a punt to finish second.
However, the departure of five villa occupants in one day means a new boy and girl are set to enter the fray tonight.
Francesca, 23, a clothing store manager from Essex, claims she's already got her eye on in-demand Curtis and Scottish gym bunny Anton.
Meanwhile, 28-year-old business development manager Chris looks set to make a beeline for the fiery Maura, but they've got plenty to do if they are going to force their way into the betting picture, as Caroline Flack confirmed on Sunday that the final will be held on Monday, July 30.
