Sibir are odds-on shots to gain another valuable win and push their claim for a playoff berth as they take on struggling Slovan Bratislava.

The Siberian outfit are three points adrift of eighth-placed Traktor with a game in hand in the eastern division while Slovan, with just seven wins in 30 outings this season, are already pretty much out of the picture.

Both teams suffered heavy defeats by identical 5-1 scorelines on Friday, Sibir going down to Spartak Moscow and Slovan beaten by Avangard Omsk, but Sibir have had the better of this fixture, winning seven of the last eight meetings including the last four at home.

Two of those came in overtime, though, and neither team are among the league's leading scorers, suggesting this could be another tight, low-scoring affair.

Sibir's goal tally of 54 is the second-lowest in the east division while Slovan are not going much better with 60.

That's an average of less than two per game, and given both teams were heavily beaten last time out they may well up their defensive effort in response.

Under 4.5 goals
