Jon Rahm, Viktor Hovland, Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele, Justin Thomas, Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth are all scheduled to tee up in this week's Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale, Arizona.

A feature of this year has been how many top-class fields have been assembled in January and early February - and the Phoenix Open is another mouthwatering dish for golf fans to enjoy. Rahm is looking to retain his world-number-one status, with Collin Morikawa having the week off.

There were three tournaments last week - and bookmakers enjoyed victories for outsiders in two of them. Harold Varner was the 66-1 winner of the Saudi International, before Tom Hoge won at the same odds in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

Nicolai Hojgaard was the 35-1 winner of the Ras al Khaimah Championship - and the Danish youngster goes to post again this week in the Ras al Khaimah Classic. Hojgaard and his twin brother, Rasmus, will join Rafael Cabrera Bello and Richard Bland in the Classic field. The Al Hamra course will be used again.

A bright performance from Spieth in the Pebble Beach Pro-Am - the Texan finished runner-up - has cemented his status as Masters second favourite behind Rahm. Bubba Watson, runner-up in the Saudi International, is a general 66-1 for the Masters. Bet365 go a standout 100-1 about the dual Augusta champion.
