The Abu Dhabi Championship boasts a star-studded field this week on the European Tour, with world number one Brooks Koepka returning from injury as the headline act.

Joining the four-times Major champion in the Abu Dhabi line-up are his fellow Americans Patrick Cantlay and Bryson DeChambeau, while Tommy Fleetwood and defending champion Shane Lowry are also in attendance.

The PGA Tour moves to California for the renamed American Express event, which was previously the Desert Classic and the CareerBuilder Challenge. Rickie Fowler, Paul Casey and Francesco Molinari are in the field.

Cameron Smith, who won his maiden PGA Tour title in the Sony Open on Sunday, is having a week off. Smith, well backed for the Sony after opening up at 50-1, was two shots behind with two holes to play but took advantage of a wobble from long-time leader Brendan Steele to access a playoff which the Australian won with a par at the first extra hole.

Branden Grace, 12-1 going into Sunday with a three-shot final-round deficit, won the South African Open by three shots, while Wade Ormsby, an ante-post 22-1 chance, cruised to a comfortable success in the Hong Kong Open.
