Preview

Lee Westwood is an experienced performer in Asia and seems a far more likely LIV Golf Bangkok title contender than American raider Jason Kokrak.

The pair have been put together in a 10-11 your-choice match with bet365 and Westwood is the much more attractive option. The 49-year-old has won eight times on the Asian Tour, including twice in Thailand, and four times on the Japan Tour.

Westwood, who finished 13th in the BMW PGA Championship last month, still has plenty to offer. Kokrak, who has been unimpressive from the start of the summer onwards, has been a rare visitor to Asia.

Talor Gooch is teeing up in Asia for the first time and the Oklahoman can be opposed with Louis Oosthuizen. A strong weekend hauled Oosthuizen up to tenth place in the Dunhill Links Championship on the DP World Tour last week. The South African, who won the 2012 Malaysian Open, is a proven global star.
