Steady Swede can get better of out-of-sorts Paul Dunne

Paul Dunne led The Open at St Andrews in 2015 and will tend to have his supporters when courses are described as links layouts, but he may not flourish at The Dutch this week.

The Irishman has finished 14th and 16th on his two visits to Spijk, but he heads to Holland in poor form having been hot in the spring.

Dunne has not made a top ten since the China Open five months ago and his greens-in-regulation ranking of 206th does not bode well on a course where second-shot accuracy is key.

Like Dunne, Swede Joakim Lagergren missed the cut by two shots at the European Masters, but the Sicilian Open champion will take confidence from solid performances at the Scottish and Irish Opens and finishes of ninth and 20th in the last two years.

It is also easier to be more enthusiastic about a player ranked 60th in GIR too.

Max Kieffer, who has played well at The Dutch before and was third in August's Nordea Masters, can get the better of Alexander Levy, who has made one top-50 finish in his last 11 events.
