The final week of golfing action before the US PGA Championship went the way of bookmakers, with Richard Bland winning his first European Tour event, aged 48, then K.H Lee providing another upset in the AT&T Byron Nelson.

Bland, teeing up in his 478th European Tour event, was a 175-1 chance for the Betfred British Masters. He beat Guido Migliozzi in a playoff at The Belfry, then K-H Lee made his PGA Tour breakthrough in the Byron Nelson, despite starting the event at 200-1.

The Korean cruised to a three-shot success thanks to a masterful final-round 66, with third-round leader Sam Burns having to settle for the runner-up cheque.

Robert MacIntyre and Jon Rahm, the tournament favourites last week, finished eighth and 34th respectively. Punters will be hoping for better as the second Major of the year - the US PGA - starts at Kiawah Island on Thursday.

Rory McIlroy, who won the last Major at Kiawah Island by eight shots in 2012, is clear favourite for this edition. McIlroy, victorious in the Wells Fargo Championship last time out, is an 11-1 chance for a third US PGA title.

Enhanced each-way terms are available for the US PGA, with Betfair, BoyleSports and Paddy Power offering a fifth the odds, ten places.
