Bryson DeChambeau withdrew from February's Saudi International after one round due to injury, but the former US Open winner has shown enough at Royal Greens previously to suggest he can get the better of Talor Gooch this week.

DeChambeau was sixth at the Jeddah venue in 2019 and 18th in 2021, and his 34th at Bedminster has been his only poor performance in six LIV outings.

He could be in for a strong finish to the LIV season, which closes in Miami at the end of the month, while Gooch has faded with finishes of 35th and 24th in his last two attempts.

He was fourth at the BMW PGA at Wentworth - his best performance since winning the RSM Classic in November - but he still has limited experience outside of the USA and may not shine this week.

Sergio Garcia has courted plenty of controversy recently but he is nonetheless an attractive proposition to beat Louis Oosthuizen in Jeddah this week.

The Spaniard, who was earlier this week fined for walking out after one round at Wentworth without giving officials a reason, has finished sixth and 12th in his last two goes at Royal Greens so should be comfortable, whereas Oosthuizen has a lot of work to do to recover from his 45th spot in Thailand last week.
