Jon Rahm says he is too "drained" to tee up in the European Tour season finale - the DP World Tour Championship - leaving Collin Morikawa and Rory McIlroy as the headline acts at the Earth Course in Dubai.

JB Hansen, the 50-1 winner of the Dubai Championship on Sunday, joins Billy Horschel, Tyrrell Hatton, Matt Fitzpatrick, Paul Casey, Abraham Ancer, Will Zalatoris, Shane Lowry and others in a star-studded DP World Tour Championship field.

The Dubai showpiece is the highlight of a busy week. The PGA Tour moves to Georgia for the RSM Classic, where Scottie Scheffler tries again for a breakthrough victory. Scheffler led the Houston Open with nine holes to play last Sunday, but bogeys at the tenth, 11th and 14th holes meant a runner-up finish behind 55-1 winner Jason Kokrak.

A four-under-par burst from Kokrak over the closing six holes in Houston meant he left Scheffler and Kevin Tway two shots behind.

The Japan Tour stages the Dunlop Phoenix this week, so punters can have tournament trebles. No overseas stars have been attracted to the event his year, meaning the market is dominated by the Japanese. It starts late on Wednesday night.
