Brooks Koepka has declared himself fit for this week's Ryder Cup, so unless a late injury or a positive Covid test changes things, the 12 Americans and 12 Europeans already named are set for battle at Whistling Straits, Wisconsin.

Koepka hurt his wrist in the Tour Championship at the start of this month, putting his Ryder Cup participation in doubt, but the Floridian appears set to take his place alongside arch-enemy Bryson DeChambeau and the rest of the United States side.

The home team have a significant form edge over the Europeans, further highlighted by Jon Rahm's missed cut as 4-1 favourite in the Fortinet Championship last week, and Steve Stricker's USA are a best-price 8-15 for victory.

Europe can be backed at 9-4, while the draw is a 12-1 chance. Stricker and his European counterpart Padraig Harrington will announce the pairings for the Friday-morning foursomes session at the end of Thursday night's opening ceremony.

Max Homa won the final PGA Tour event before the Ryder Cup - the ante-post 60-1 chance holing out for eagle from 95 yards at the 12th hole to start a five-under-par charge to the clubhouse which secured a one-shot success over Maverick McNealy.

Kristoffer Broberg was the 300-1 winner of the Dutch Open - the Swede turning an eight-shot three-round advantage into a three-shot triumph.
