National League

It has been a difficult start to the season for ante-post promotion favourites Tranmere and they could fall further off the pace when Leyton Orient travel to Prenton Park.

Rovers finished second last term but a run of just four wins from their opening 13 games has left them closer to the drop zone this time and their troubles in front of goal – only second-bottom Guiseley have notched fewer this term – makes them difficult to trust.

Orient are winless in five league matches but are performing much better than their recent results suggest.

Steve Davis's youthful bunch claimed a point at Aldershot and gained away wins at high-fliers Woking and Maidenhead and could avoid defeat on their trip to the Wirral.

Recommendation
Leyton Orient or draw double chance
