Wycombe wonders could kick on in style
There was a bunched finish in the race for the League Two playoffs last season with just six points separating Exeter in fifth place and Accrington in 13th.
Wycombe were one of the frustrated teams who narrowly missed out on the post-season shootout but the Chairboys have stability - unlike many clubs at this level - and look set for another solid season under Gareth Ainsworth.
They finished fourth in 2014-15, losing to Southend in the playoff final, and 13th - level on points with top-half Mansfield - in 2015-16 despite scoring only 45 goals in 46 games.
