Wrexham ready to seize chance of revenge
Bromley defence can hold firm
National League
Kick-offs 7.45pm Tuesday
Dean Keates was the first to admit that his Wrexham side “didn’t turn up” when they visited AFC Fylde in the FA Cup this month, so he is delighted that the Dragons get an early chance for revenge.
Ten days after losing 1-0 at Mill Farm in the fourth qualifying round, Wrexham are back up the coast in the National League and they look a decent price to make amends with a win.
Wrexham are now unbeaten in 11 following Saturday’s smash-and-grab raid at Dagenham while Fylde struggle at the wrong end of the table. They have won only once at home since promotion.
In the same division, Maidenhead have taken one point from their last four road trips which leaves them vulnerable at Bromley, who are unbeaten in five. Bromley boast the joint-best home defensive record in the league and Saturday’s toppling of Woking will have given Neil Smith’s men a massive lift.
