Preview

Everton are rock bottom of the Women's Super League after successive 4-0 defeats but can kick-start the weekend's action with a comfortable win over Birmingham at Walton Hall Park.

In fairness to the Merseysiders, their first two matches were against title hopefuls Chelsea and Manchester City and they should be a cut above Birmingham, who finished 11th last term.

Everton's new signings Anna Anvegard and Toni Duggan have not had a chance to impress so far and could rack up the goals for the hosts, who are worth backing giving up a goal on the handicap.

The weekend's headline fixture sees in-form Arsenal take on Manchester City at Meadow Park on Sunday.

The Gunners have beaten reigning champions Chelsea and Reading in their first two games, while also booking their place in the Champions League group stage this month.

City, meanwhile, followed their opening-day success over Everton with home defeats to Real Madrid and Tottenham and will be missing captain Steph Houghton, talented defender Lucy Bronze and youngster Esme Morgan among others for this contest.

Arsenal are worth backing to make it three straight wins.
