Weekend preview

It's a Super Sunday in the WSL with TV cameras at two games – two matches that have away win written all over them.

Villa Park plays host to a newly-strengthened Aston Villa at home to Manchester City, who should be far too strong.

And then it's off to Prenton Park, Tranmere, in the evening where Liverpool's return to the top flight is marked with a visit from all-conquering champions Chelsea.

Chelsea coach Emma Hayes has strengthened again in the summer, and they, Arsenal, and to some degree Man City, remain a class apart from Liverpool.

To that end, anaway win seems inevitable. An away win with plenty of goals also ticks a betting box.

During last season's winning spree at the back end of the campaign, five of Chelsea's successes featured at least four goals and it's quite likely that this game will be an open affair.

With attacking pedigree of Sam Kerr, Fran Kirby and Lauren James, if Chelsea create chances they will find the net. Liverpool, who thumped West Ham 5-0 in their last friendly, have attacking clout of their own, notably young Irish ace Leanne Kiernan, who won't be fazed by the quality of the opposition.
