Preview

Two Women's Super League giants will clash at Boreham Wood on Sunday afternoon and BT Sport viewers could be dished up at cagey affair at 2.30pm.

Champions Arsenal beat Manchester City on the final day of last seaosn and with the Citizens having won their opening four matches without conceding, Nick Cushing's team will be eager for revenge.

However, they need to pick themselves up after a Continental Cup defeat to WSL new girls Manchester United and City have hardly been full of goals, notching just seven times in the league this term.

The Gunners have work to do to retain their title having surrendered a lead to lose 2-1 at Chelsea earlier this month.

And while they have netted nine goals in their last two games against Slavia Prague and Charlton - striker Vivianne Miedema scored four in the 5-2 win over the Czechs - this is a much tougher proposition.

It would be no surprise if they cancelled each other out so under 2.5 goals at evens looks a decent bet.

United should be buzzing after their cup win over City and they can build on that success at home to Reading.

Opening games against Arsenal and City were tough after promotion - they lost 1-0 on both occasions - but they flew out of the blocks last week and in their previous clash, a 3-0 win at Tottenham.

The Royals needed a last-minute goal from England's Fara Williams to beat mid-table Championship outfit Lewes in the cup last week and United can put them in their place.
