Match preview

A big weekend for women's football sees a full slate of WSL games and the second legs of the Women's Champions League semi-finals.

Manchester City and Brighton open proceedings with a televised encounter on Saturday and the in-form Citizens are fancied to win.

Later on Barcelona visit Wolfsburg with their 5-1 lead looking insurmountable from the first leg. The more intriguing tie sees French giants Paris St-Germain and Lyon face off after a tight first game that Lyon edged 3-2.

The tie is delicately balanced with PSG hoping home advantage may be enough to swing it in their favour. Whichever side does progress faces a tall order getting anything out of this dominant Barcelona team in the final, however.

Returning to domestic matters, Tottenham visit Everton in the late kick-off on Sunday looking to turn around their poor recent form. Spurs have lost four on the bounce but two of those defeats have come against powerhouses Chelsea and they should be in much calmer waters against Everton, who have lost four of their last five.

Tottenham were victorious in the reverse fixture and can get their season back on track with a win on Merseyside.
