Match preview

Chelsea Women can strengthen their pursuit of a quadruple success and reach their first Champions League final with the right result against Bayern Munich.

Bayern are also hoping to make the final for the first time and they bring a 2-1 advantage from the first leg to Kingsmeadow.

But Chelsea were arguably the better side in the first match in Germany, winning the shot count 12-10 and seeing 64 per cent of the ball.

They have already won the League Cup this season and are in contention for the Women's Super League and FA Cup titles and Emma Hayes's side could be worth chancing at odds-against.

They have had a full week to prepare for the return leg and punters should not underestimate the potential return of captain and key defender Magdalena Eriksson to the team after injury.

Chelsea will have to play on the front foot and with Pernille Harder, Fran Kirby and Sam Kerr having netted a combined 41 WSL goals this term, they could cause trouble for Bayern.

The winners of this tie will face either Barcelona or Paris Saint-Germain, who drew 1-1 in their first leg, in the final.
