Preview

Juventus Women are yet to put a foot wrong in Serie A this season but their record in the Champions League in recent campaigns is unremarkable and they could be set for a disappointing evening against Wolfsburg on Tuesday.

Since their Champions League debut in 2018-19, Juve have failed to make it beyond the first round and are struggling to make it out of their group this time around, with Chelsea and Wolfsburg having started strongly in Group A.

While Juventus were comfortably beaten by Chelsea, Wolfsburg held the Londoners to a 3-3 draw before thrashing Servette 5-0.

Goalscoring midfielder Jill Roord has proven to be a valuable signing from Arsenal and while they are progressing in Europe, Wolfsburg have also won five of their opening seven Frauen Bundesliga matches and reached the quarter-finals of the German Cup.

They made the final of this competition only two season ago and are a decent bet at odds-on to win in Turin.

WSL champions Chelsea, meanwhile, are 1-22 to defeat the section's also-rans Servette, while Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid put their 100 per cent records in this year's competition on the line when they lock horns in the French capital.
