Wolves have played better than results have suggested in recent weeks and the Molineux men can get back to winning ways at home to Huddersfield.

Nuno's side were deservedly beaten by Watford on October 20 but a subsequent run of a further two defeats and a draw is incredibly harsh given Wanderers were worthy of much more in the losses to Brighton and Tottenham as well as the 1-1 draw at Arsenal.

Wolves had seven shots on target to Brighton's one in the 1-0 reverse and Hugo Lloris had a stormer in the Spurs goal as Tottenham sneaked a 3-2 victory, before Bernd Leno repeated the goalkeeping heroics at the Emirates last time out.

Those results saw Wolves slip into the bottom half heading into the international break, although they are likely to finish in the top ten this season and may even push for a spot in the Europa League such is the quality available to Nuno.

That's why Wolves are rated such strong favourites against Huddersfield and they should oblige.

However, Wolves are not the sort of side to blitz opponents and their controlled approach often sees them grind teams down with Ruben Neves and Joao Moutinho dominating midfield.

With that in mind a bet on Wolves to win and under 2.5 goals - effectively splitting bets at 1-0 and 2-0 at superior odds to the correct-score market - could be a profitable way to support the short-priced favourites.

All five of Wolves's wins this season have been by a 1-0 or 2-0 margin and even in last term's runaway Sky Bet Championship campaign seven of their 16 home wins featured fewer than three goals.

Patience is the name of the game for Wolves, who needed at least 56 minutes to break the deadlock in every Premier League win this season.

Thankfully for Nuno his side don't panic and he possesses players on the bench such as Adama Traore, Diogo Jota and Morgan Gibbs-White who can make the difference when required, particularly with Huddersfield missing a couple of first-team defenders.

Huddersfield have also scored easily the fewest goals in this season's Premier League with just six, making it all the more remarkable that Town have managed to notch in all bar one of their away matches.

The decent road scoring record appears unsustainable unless more talent is brought to the club in January and that extra ability in the final third could prove decisive for Wolves.
