Wide-open Scottish title race is a welcome change

But Celtic are still massive favourites

Scottish football's top flight has not served up a title race as genuinely exciting as this year's Ladbrokes Premiership battle for decades.

Instead of the usual one-horse procession north of the border, it has been an exciting season with Celtic, Rangers, Hearts and Kilmarnock all having topped the table.

In addition, four-in-a-row runners-up Aberdeen are up there too despite an underwhelming season, St Johnstone have overachieved as usual and Livingston, who have been promoted two seasons in a row, have been fantastic, particularly at home.
