Wycombe's qualities have been highlighted elsewhere and the Chairboys are worth a small each-way bet on the season handicap.

Gareth Ainsworth's men finished ninth last term, just two points behind fifth-placed Exeter, and the long-serving gaffer feels he has a squad to go to war with this season.

Defender Aaron Pierre has joined League One Northampton but experienced stopper Adam El-Abd has arrived and Ainsworth praised his "cool, calmness and tenacity at the back" after the pre-season victory over AFC Wimbledon.
