National League Tuesday preview

Notts County routed Eastleigh 4-0 on Saturday to register their fourth consecutive league win, and could collect another three points when they visit Torquay.

The Magpies have climbed up to third with that impressive run of form and will have one eye on automatic promotion with league leaders Barrow now only seven points ahead.

Torquay look to be improving and have kept clean sheets in their last three games at Plainmoor, but they will be hard-pressed to maintain that run given Notts County have notched 11 in their last four matches.

Neal Ardley’s side look to be playing with plenty of confidence and are worth backing to secure another victory.

Eastleigh could be in for another tough game after their thupming by Notts County when they host Dover.

Andy Hessenthaler’s side have slightly gone off the boil but they did earn a late draw against Chesterfield at the weekend which should have boosted their spirits.

They have the second-best away record in the division while Eastleigh have won just one of their last six at home.

The Hampshire side have failed to score in three of their last four games and Dover could make them pay.
