Preview

Stuttgart endured a terrible start to the Bundesliga season which included a run of one win in 12 games. Since then, the Reds have bounced back with seven points from the last nine available and they can get on the scoresheet when they face league leaders Bayern Munich.

Pellegrino Matarazzo’s side have netted at least twice in their last three games and of their 22 league goals, 16 have come at home.

Bayern have been in devastating form this year, scoring 47 times in 15 games, but have also conceded 16 and five of their last six games have seen both teams score.

With that in mind, both teams are taken to find the net in a Bayern win.

Elsewhere in the Bundesliga, relegation-threatened Arminia Bielefeld host Bochum in what looks likely to be a low-scoring affair.

Bochum have acquitted themselves well back in the top flight, currently sitting in tenth after winning five of their last eight league games.

Arminia on the other hand have struggled again this campaign, winning just one of their opening 15 matches.

Goals have been an issue for both sides, with the pair netting just 26 between them in 30 games. Arminia are the lowest-scoring team in the Bundesliga and scored just 26 times all last season as they narrowly stayed up.

Bochum may come out on top but under 2.5 goals is the play.

In Spain, the second round of the Copa del Rey gets under way with fourth-tier Cristo Atletico's home game against La Liga side Espanyol the tie of the round. The minnows are 18-1 to cause the upset.

There is also cup action in the Coppa Italia second round. Genoa and Salernitana, both in the Serie A relegation zone, face off.
