Defeat to Jose Mourinho’s side brought to an end a run of nine games unbeaten, including away wins against Juventus and Napoli, but Gian Piero Gasperini’s men can regain the winning thread.

Andriy Shevchenko faces an uphill battle to keep Genoa in Italy's top flight but his side have at least scored 19 times this season, better than the rest of Serie A's bottom five.
