Tottenham end Stamford Bridge curse thanks to Dele Alli double
Chelsea out to 28-1 to finish in Premier League's top four
Tottenham are partying like it's 1990 after ending a 28-year wait for a win at Stamford Bridge with a vital 3-1 Premier League victory over Chelsea.
Dele Alli's second-half double proved to be a knockout blow as fourth-placed Spurs opened up a potentially decisive eight-point advantage over Chelsea in the race for Champions League qualification.
Bookmakers certainly believe that fight is as good as over with Betway offering 28-1 about Chelsea finishing in the Premier League's top four. Spurs are as short as 1-100 and best at 1-33 to be mixing with Europe's elite once again next term.
Tottenham, winless on their last 30 visits to Stamford Bridge in all competitions, looked like enduring another miserable 90 minutes at the home of their London rivals when Alvaro Morata broke the deadlock, only for Christian Eriksen's long-range effort to level matters just before half-time.
The second period belonged to Tottenham and particularly Alli, who put the visitors in front with a wonderful control and finish before grabbing his second in much uglier fashion following a goalmouth scramble.
Chelsea are going to need a spectacular collapse from Spurs, Liverpool or Manchester United to avoid a Europa League campaign next season and Antonio Conte is unlikely to be around to lead the champions into the secondary competition.
Coral quote 4-11 that Conte departs Stamford Bridge before the start of next season and he is 2-1 to remain at the club.
Arsenal, sixth and five points behind Chelsea, increased Stoke's relegation worries with a 3-0 win at the Emirates.
All the goals came in the final 15 minutes with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang notching from the spot and then adding a second before Alexandre Lacazette also scored a penalty.
Stoke, three points from safety and with the worst goal difference in the division, are 3-10 to be relegated.
