Sunday preview

Bayer Leverkusen have been the form team in the Bundesliga since Xabi Alonso took the reins, winning their last five matches to climb up the standings after a sluggish start.

Alonso's men face a tough their toughest test in some time on Sunday, however, as they welcome Dortmund to the BayArena.

The pair tend to put on a show whenever they clash. Eight of the last ten meetings have featured four or more goals and that trend looks likely to continue given the goalscoring prowess of both sides.

That should give England star Jude Bellingham plenty of opportunities to get in on the act as he returns from suspension. Bellingham has scored ten goals and registered four assists in 22 starts in all competitions this season, so the 21-10 about him either scoring or registering an assist makes plenty of appeal.

Lazio are challenging for Champions League qualification in Serie A and they should maintain their top-four charge with victory over Fiorentina.

The visitors have lost back-to-back matches ahead of their trip to Rome while Lazio have won their last three matches without conceding.

Lazio have also won their last four Serie A home games against Fiorentina and they should make that five on the spin on Sunday.

Real Madrid are still clinging on to Barcelona's coat-tails in the La Liga title race despite a recent wobble, but they face another stern test of their credentials when third-placed Real Sociedad visit the Spanish capital.

Sociedad had won nine successive games in all competitions prior to a 1-0 Copa del Rey at the hands of Barca on Wednesday night and La Real should provide Carlo Ancelotti’s Real with a thorough examination.

Brazil international forward Rodrygo has become an increasingly influential player for Real this season, scoring nine goals and laying on six more in 18 starts in all competitions, and the 22-year-old could play a decisive role at the Bernabeu. At odds-against, he looks a nice price to either score or register an assist.
