1 Arsenal

Champions Arsenal look to be the team to beat again, having scored 70 goals in 20 games on their way to glory last season.

They have the league's best striker in Holland's Vivianne Miedema and will have a stronger midfield once England's Jordan Nobbs returns to action after the serious knee injury that kept her out of the World Cup.

2 Chelsea

The Blues should be hungry after failing to retain their title last season, but they have excellent attacking options, including Beth England, who was unfortunate not to make the Lionesses's squad.
