Championship highflyers West Brom have taken 25 points from 12 fixtures but they were far from fluent when winning 1-0 at home to Birmingham on Friday and may struggle to take maximum points against an improving Swansea side at the Liberty Stadium.

The Baggies needed a moment of magic from top scorer Karlan Grant to see off struggling Birmingham, who had to stomach a third successive defeat.

However, Valerien Ismael's side found it difficult to create chances against the Blues and are having to manage the fitness of key midfielder Alex Mowatt, who is struggling with a foot injury and has failed to finish the last two games.

Albion may find it difficult to hit top gear and there could be an opportunity for Swansea to continue their recent resurgence.

The Swans took a while to shake off their playoff hangover from last season but they were impressive 3-0 winners at home to Cardiff on Sunday and can claim at least another point against Albion.
