Chelsea were given a scare by Luton in Wednesday's 3-2 FA Cup fifth-round win and they may have to work hard for a victory against Burnley, who held the Blues to a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in November.

Wolves 1-0 Crystal Palace

Wolves's push for Europe has been hampered by narrow defeats to Arsenal and West Ham in their last two games but they can grind out a home win over Crystal Palace, who have failed to score in any of their five away defeats.

Aston Villa 1-2 Southampton

Southampton's fine form continued with a 3-1 FA Cup win over West Ham on Wednesday and they can inflict a fourth 2-1 defeat of the season on inconsistent Aston Villa.

Newcastle 1-1 Brighton

Brighton have lost their last three Premier League matches to nil but the top flight's draw specialists can stop the rot at Newcastle. The Seagulls have had eight 1-1 draws in the league this season, including November's reverse fixture against the Magpies.

Norwich 0-0 Brentford

Bottom club Norwich have scored only 15 goals in 26 league matches this season and they may be held to a stalemate by visitors Brentford, who have failed to notch in three of their last four including a goalless draw with Crystal Palace.

Preston 1-2 Bournemouth

Championship promotion contenders Bournemouth have beaten Blackpool and Stoke 2-1 in their last two league matches and that scoreline looks a big runner when the Cherries take on a solid Preston side.
