Preview

Manchester United boss Marc Skinner insists form goes out of the window when it comes to derby matches but it is hard to ignore how good his side have been in the Women's Super League this season and they can hold their own against rivals Manchester City.

The Red Devils have won seven of their eight WSL fixtures this season with their only defeat coming at home to pacesetters Chelsea at the start of November.

They responded to that loss with a stunning 3-2 win at Arsenal and have since won comfortably against Aston Villa in the League and Everton in the League Cup.

Manchester City, meanwhile, are on a nine-game winning run in all competitions and are only three points behind United in the league standings.

Both sides are odds-against to win this one and the better betting angle could be to back over 2.5 goals.

United have plundered 23 goals in their eight fixtures, while City have scored at least twice in each of their last nine assignments.

City also have in-form Khadija Shaw, who has eight WSL goals to her name this term, leading the line and it should not be short of goals.

Highflyers Arsenal are also in action on Sunday and are 1-6 to beat Aston Villa, who are 12-1 to come out on top.
