Preview

There are five non-televised FA Cup third-round ties on Sunday and the best bet could be to back the home side in the all-League One clash between Derby and Barnsley.

Paul Warne's Rams have got their act together, particularly at Pride Park where they have kept five clean sheets in their last six outings.

Derby have scored nine goal in their last three games on their own patch and while Barnsley have suffered just one defeat in their nine away league games since a 2-1 loss at Derby on August 13, this could prove a tough game.

With both teams well in the race for a playoff spot, team selection is worth keeping an eye on, but it is just a week since Barnsley had to play 80 minutes with ten men in a 3-0 home loss against Bolton, which is likely to have dented their confidence.

In Serie A, Lecce look to have found their feet at a higher level recently with wins over Atalanta, Sampdoria and Lazio, and they are capable of making it four in a row at Spezia.

Their hosts are fourth from bottom and have won one of their last nine games.

Spezia have conceded at least twice in five of their last seven home games, but five of their outings on their own patch this season have finished level, so taking the Lecce draw-no-bet option looks the best approach.

In Spain, Rayo Vallecano should have enough to beat travel-sick Real Betis.

The visitors have failed to score in four of their last five home games while a seven-match unbeaten run should ensure Vallecano's confidence is high.
