Struggling Celtic face another tricky fixture

St Johnstone appeal with a handicap start

Celtic have been a team to avoid lately and that looks the case again as they are just 1-3 for victory in Perth. St Johnstone are worth backing with a two-goal start on the handicap.

Brendan Rodgers' men were turned over in Austria by a classy Salzburg side in the Europa League and, while Saints are obviously nowhere near that standard, they can cause problems.

They narrowly lost to Celtic in the Betfred Cup at McDiarmid Park and were defeated by just one goal at Hearts last week.

It's a big ask for Tommy Wright's side to become the latest outfit to beat Celtic but they can run them close in what could be another uncomfortable fixture for the champions.

Recommendation
St Johnstone +2 on handicap
2pts 10-11 Betway

Team news
St Johnstone
Tony Watt should be fit to face his former team but Murray Davidson is set to miss out.

Celtic
Captain Scott Brown is still missing with a hamstring strain and Kristoffer Ajer and Nir Bitton are also out. Filip Benkovic should return.

Key stat
Celtic have scored exactly one goal in each of their last five games.
