Bournemouth have forged three points clear of West Brom at the top of the Championship after taking 19 points from their last seven games but they may have to settle for a draw from a difficult fixture against Stoke at the bet365 Stadium.

The Cherries made some smart decisions in the summer, recruiting a proven Championship manager in Scott Parker and strengthening every area of the squad.

Veteran centre-back Gary Cahill looks an inspired signing and his partnership with Lloyd Kelly could be key to resisting a strong Stoke side, who have picked up 16 points from six home fixtures.

Stoke's five home wins have included a well-deserved 1-0 victory over West Brom when they created lots of chances and were rock solid in defence.

The Potters are a lot stronger than they were last season and are certainly strong candidates for a top-six finish, but even they may struggle to snap the EFL's last remaining unbeaten record.
