Steve Evans can inspire Peterborough again
Playoff-chasing Posh look rejuvenated under new manager
Kick-off 7.45pm Tuesday
Bury v Peterborough
Peterborough certainly turned to the right man for the rocket they need to surge into playoff contention, and no-nonsense Steve Evans was more than happy with his first game in charge, a 4-1 romp past Charlton.
Now Evans can make it two out of two at Sky Bet League One’s bottom club Bury.
Jack Marriott, the division’s top scorer, bagged his first brace since Boxing Day against the Addicks and appeared rejuvenated up top while Jack Baldwin had the back line looking far more secure.
Bury, hammered 3-0 at Posh just before Christmas, have won just one of their last five and throwing away a two-goal lead against Oldham on Saturday was unforgivable given the plight they are in. They are League One’s third-lowest home scorers.

Exeter v Yeovil
Pretty much unbeatable on their own patch, Paul Tisdale’s Exeter can take care of West Country rivals Yeovil in League Two.
Yeovil head south after four straight defeats, including last week’s heartbreaking Football League Trophy semi-final loss against Shrewsbury.
Darren Way’s young side are finding it hard going and can expect no mercy at St James’s Park, where Exeter have lost only once in the league since late October.
They’ve won 11 of their 17 at home, shipping just 14 goals and Yeovil, who have failed to find the net in four of their last six, are going to find it hard to break them down.
Recommendation
Exeter
