Spurs youngsters could face tough lesson at Anfield
The absence of European football is benefiting Liverpool in the title race and it is the key reason for backing them to defeat Tottenham in this EFL Cup fourth-round tie at Anfield.
Jurgen Klopp has put out strong teams in the early rounds of the competition and reaped the rewards with Liverpool winning 5-0 at Burton and 3-0 at Derby.
Off the back of those performances Liverpool have shortened to 5-1 to win the trophy – making them joint favourites alongside Arsenal – and are no bigger than 3-4 to defeat Spurs without the need for extra-time.
