Barnsley v Reading 7.45pm

Barnsley were successful in their opening home game under Austrian head coach Gerhard Struber, winning 3-2 against Hull, and should fancy their chances of defeating Reading at Oakwell.

Struber's Tykes were unlucky to lose 3-2 at Cardiff on Saturday and are decent value to bounce back against the Royals, who have fitness doubts over influential midfielder Ovie Ejaria and striker Sam Baldock.

Brentford v Cardiff 7.45pm

A clash of styles is in store at Griffin Park, where hosts Brentford will try to utilise their slick-passing approach against Cardiff's direct tactics.

Markets often favour possession-based teams and the Bees are odds-on favourites despite being a point behind their opponents.

Neither team are fully convincingat the back and there could be goals at both ends.

Swansea v Blackburn 7.45pm

Blackburn are on a four-match winning sequence and look overpriced to collect three points at Swansea, who are winless in five.

Rovers are benefiting from a purple patch from classy midfielder Bradley Dack, who has scored four goals in the last four games.

They look in much better shape than the Swans, who were hammered 5-1 at West Brom on Sunday.

Wigan v West Brom 7.45pm

Confidence is close to rock-bottom for Wigan, whose winless run was extended to eight when they shipped two goals in the final ten minutes of Saturday's 2-1 defeat at fellow strugglers Luton.

The Latics have not kept a clean sheet since October and look ideal opponents for highflying West Brom, who arrive at the DW Stadium with the intention of building on a six-match winning sequence.
