Barnsley v Birmingham

Birmingham are unbeaten in eight games since a 3-2 loss at home to Wigan on New Year's Day and they can extend that positive spell by defeating second-bottom Barnsley at Oakwell.

Survival looks a long shot for the Tykes, who have taken one point from their last four games, leaving them eight points adrift of safety.

Further disappointment is in store against Birmingham, who were impressive 3-1 winners at Bristol City on Friday.

Blackburn v Hull City

Mid-table Blackburn are just four points above Hull in the Sky Bet Championship and there may not be much to choose between the sides at Ewood Park.

Hull are coming to terms with the January sales of key attackers Jarrod Bowen and Kamil Grosicki while Blackburn are struggling to adjust to playing without injured duo Lewis Holtby and Bradley Dack.

A close match is on the cards and there is value in backing Hull to take at least a share of the spoils.

Brentford v Leeds United

Leeds need to stop the rot after four defeats in five games and they can make a start by holding promotion rivals Brentford to a draw at Griffin Park.

The return from suspension of midfielder Kalvin Phillips is a massive boost for Leeds, who have looked too open in recent games.

Brentford were not at their best in a 3-2 success at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday and will have to improve to overcome Marcelo Bielsa's side.

Nottingham Forest v Charlton

Nottingham Forest are in the thick of the promotion race after Saturday's well-deserved 2-0 success at home to Leeds and the Tricky Trees can follow it up by defeating struggling Charlton.

Sabri Lamouchi's side dropped a lot of points on home soil earlier in the season but have collected 13 from their last five games at the City Ground.

They should have too much quality for the Addicks, who have suffered four successive away defeats.

Wigan v Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough have gone seven games without a victory since New Year's Day but they can get back on track by defeating Wigan at the DW Stadium.

Jonathan Woodgate's Boro have drawn a lot of games recently and their only three defeats of 2020 came in tough away games at Tottenham (1-2), Fulham (0-1) and Brentford (2-3).

They are still playing some good football and look superior to Wigan, who have won just one of their last nine home matches.
