Group E of the Champions League always looked as if it was going to be a finely-balanced section with CSKA Moscow, Bayer Leverkusen, Tottenham and Monaco battling for two qualification spots and so it has proved after two rounds of absorbing action.

It is the only section of eight where no match has been decided by more than one goal and it is also the only group which has already featured more than one draw.
