Sheriff set to restore some order in Tiraspol

Moldovan champions FC Sheriff were desperately unlucky to lose the first leg of their Champions League second- qualifying-round tie against Hapoel Beersheva.

They can make amends when they clash with the Israeli champions in Tiraspol this evening.

Sheriff, who have twice been to the playoff round in recent years so have some pedigree, were leading 1-0 in the first leg when they had defender Fidan Aliti sent off.
