Brighton beat Nottingham Forest 1-0 in their first home match of the last season’s Sky Bet Championship and the Seagulls should be backed to defeat them again at the Amex Stadium tonight.

A whopping 34 points separated playoff casualties Brighton from mid-table Forest in the last campaign, but after one game this term the Tricky Trees hold a two-point advantage courtesy of last Saturday’s 4-3 victory at home to newly-promoted Burton.

However, Forest’s longer-term prospects will depend on finding the right buyer to replace owner Fawad Al-Hasawi, who has announced his intention to sell up.
