Scotland's nervy 3-2 victory over Israel at Hampden Park on Tuesday means they will have two chances of qualifying for Euro 2020, either by finishing in the top two of their section or by winning their Nations League playoff after gaining promotion from League C.

Alex McLeish's side are scheduled to meet Finland at home in the semi-finals of the playoffs, before potentially taking on either Norway or Serbia in the final, although that could yet change depending on who is able to secure a direct passage through to the European Championship.

Scotland, like Ireland and Northern Ireland, will be in pot three for the draw with Wales and Germany in pot two. The top two from each of the ten groups will go through to the finals, with the other four teams coming from the Nations League playoffs.

England are in the Nations League pot of top seeds which means they will be in a group from A-D which will be a five-team section free from any minnows in pot six. One of the other six top seeds will also be in a five-team group with the other five pools consisting of six teams.
