Scottish Premiership preview

Rangers are unbeaten in eight games under Mick Beale and the Gers are cutting an improved side in recent weeks.

However, the Ibrox outfit were taken to extra-time by Aberdeen in their Scottish League Cup semi-final on Sunday and a trip to Rugby Park to face Kilmarnock in the Premiership doesn’t look as simple as the prices suggest.

Kilmarnock were also in cup action at the weekend and they spent large amounts of their semi-final clash with Celtic without the ball.

Killie have a smaller squad than Rangers and it’s hard to think that Derek McInnes’ men will be the fresher side, but they have home advantage and that could allow the East Ayrshire side to be competitive.

Kilmarnock have conceded only five goals in their last six home matches and the forecast freezing and breezy conditions could make it tricky for Rangers to break down their hosts so, at 13-10, it could pay to back under 2.5 goals.

Celtic are the runaway league leaders, but they've kept just one clean sheet in their last seven games at Parkhead and backing both teams to score looks the play when St Mirren visit east Glasgow.

The Bhoys have conceded against Hibernian, Dundee United, Ross County, Livingston and St Johnstone on their own patch this season and St Mirren are good enough to add their name to the roster.

The Buddies beat Celtic 2-0 at St Mirren Park. They've also found the net against Rangers, Hearts, Aberdeen and Hibs this term and the 13-10 about both sides scoring at Celtic Park looks worth taking.
